Holds a PhD in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from ETH Zürich (2008) and a Master's degree in Geodetic and Geographical Information Technologies from Middle East Technical University (2001). Founder of geoPlato Engineering & Consultancy, demonstrating expertise applicable to real-world projects.

Sinem Cetinkaya, Research And Development Specialist
Sinem Cetinkaya is a current PhD Candidate in Geomatics Engineering at Hacettepe University, Ankara. Commencing her academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, followed by a Master's in Applied Geology, she honed her skills in understanding Earth processes and geological phenomena. Currently dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis, her research focuses on geohazard prediction and modeling, employing advanced machine learning and deep learning methods. Sinem's interdisciplinary background uniquely positions her to seamlessly integrate geological insights with state-of-the-art geospatial technologies.
